FBA stands for Fulfillment by Amazon,it means delivery goods to Amazon warehouse mainly by shipping. There are mainly two modes: shipping and express, and shipping and truck!

I. What is FBA Shipping？

FBA stands for Fulfillment by Amazon,it means delivery goods to Amazon warehouse mainly by shipping. There are mainly two modes: shipping and express, and shipping and truck! So this article will introduce the following aspects around FBA shipping:

1. FBA shipping and express

Support double clearance and tax package. After the goods arrive at the port for customs clearance, they will be delivered to the Amazon warehouse by express.

2.FBA shipping and truck

Support double clearance but does not include tax, and tariffs are paid in accordance with the tax bill. After the goods arrive at the port for customs clearance and release, they are transported to the destination by train, and then sent to the corresponding Amazon warehouse by truck.

II. FBA shipping delivery process

Delivery the goods to logistics company-->Package and loading-->Shipping-->Customs clearance-->Amazon warehouse reservation-->Delivery to Amazon warehouse.

III. Advantages and disadvantages of FBA Shipping

1.Advantages

A.The transportation fee is very cheap.

B.It is well used for jettison and heavy cargo.

2.Disadvantages 

A.Shipping time is very long.

B.The shipping volume must be no less than 2CMB and 100kg.

C.If the preliminary work is not done well, problems with label scanning will affect the goods entering the warehouse or even fail to enter the warehouse;

D.Sellers must comply with the shipping packaging standards for Amazon FBA product types. This kind of packaging standard is not necessarily suitable for your own products, so the breakage rate during express delivery is higher, and the ratio of return and exchange is higher.

V. FBA shipping charges for FCL

A. Issue various miscellaneous charges at the port, such as customs declaration fee, document fee thc, terminal fee, booking fee, etc.

B. Start sea freight from port to US port. At present, the small port such as LA small port in the US West Base Port is about US$1,000, and the price of the high cabinet is about $1,400.

C. Customs declaration fee: usually $100 - $125 /ticket.

D. ISF FILING FEE: $25 - $50.

E. Borrow the American trading company to head up (if needed). Fixed fee per ticket.

IV. FBA shipping charges for LCL

A. The freight from domestic ports to the basic ports in East America/Mexico, such as A/NY. Usually it is about tens of dollars/CBM.

B. Agency port and warehouse cost: depends on the CBM and gross weight; and pallets or cartons, usually several hundred dollars.

C. Customs clearance fee: usually $100 - $125 /ticket.

D. ISF FILING FEE: $25 - $50.

IIV.FBA shipping requirements

1. FBA shipping warehouse bill of lading requirements:

A. Must include the AM reference number (the NO. on FBA shipment).

B. Must include the number of boxes and the number of pallets.

C. If possible, the first FBA by sea should indicate the bill of landing number on the label of the box or pallet.
 
2. Truck requirements:

A. The vehicle weight is not less than 7.5 tons and the vehicle height is not higher than 4 meters. Other types of vehicles will not be accepted.

B. For the first FBA shipping, there must be enough space between the front and the front of the pallet to facilitate the unloading of AM personnel (AM does not accept unloading from the side of the pallet).

C. The pallet cannot be obstructed by other goods, such as empty pallets, other people’s goods, etc. AM can reject the goods if there are other obstructions.
