AFK training is generally well... in violation of RS guidelines... If it's conducted in small amounts to ensure that RS doesn't shut you down and you don't use an application to complete the task, then it's acceptable. All you need to do is click, and then quit your computer. But, it's against the rules of Runescape to make use of programs to exercise even when you're not in front of your keyboard.

Don't take this approach. Everyone hates autoers. It's impossible to leave the keyboard only to autologout to remember. It isn't possible to get off the keyboard for longer than a couple of minutes before you are automatically logged out. It's best to remain on the computer, or go through a book then increase the volume to let the creature die, especially if you're training for combat.

This is great for melee and mage because you don't need to be concerned about runes, regardless of whether they were carried. This isn't a great idea since you must take the ammo you own. It is possible however, it's possible.

Auto-piloting is not allowed and I strongly disapprove of it. The only "AFK" training that is offered is that I have provided. It's more of "turn off chat so that no one is able to talk to me, and then train while you multitask".
