Well, that was fun wasn't it? Super Wild Card Weekend was a very similar experience to Wild Card Weekend ... however, it was SUPER! Everything is more fun when you add "Super" on top of it. You can see: Mario Bros., Nintendo, man, and bowl. Sorry, but I'm not able maintain this semblance of professionalism. This was all an attempt by the Madden NFL 24 to make more money, so congrats I guess.

We really, really didn't need to see the Buccaneers beat to the Eagles or the Chiefs topple the Steelers in a 3 hour broadcasting song in honor of Ben Roethlisberger -- but we did, and it was easily the most boring thing this weekend.

In reality, there isn't always enough. The four game weekend structure was already perfectly arranged. The two NFC, two AFC harmony was in place and it was a delight. It's now time to push this whole process into Monday, which means an unbalanced 3 game Sunday. I know that raging against the machine isn't an effective venture, but I hope the players realize some advantage when they sign the next CBA of having to put themselves at risk during an extra week of regular season , and an additional playoff game.

We'll not spend the time to think about what went wrong this weekend instead look at the incredible events that occurred.

There were plenty of huge winners at quarterback this week and none more as Josh Allen. Beyond the astonishing stats it was far more about the statement Allen said on the weekend over anything else.
