チュートリアルの漫才について：
・漫才やコントのネタづくりは徳井が担当し，コンビ結成当時からの基本テーマは「わけわからんけど，わけわかる」。どこか違和感のある設定や些細なことへの異常な執着を出発点として強引に脱線してゆく徳井のボケを，振り回されつつもあくまで常識的な立場をとってツッコんでいく福田との掛け合いが基本スタイルで，一部から「妄想漫才」と呼ばれている。
・当初は昔話や教科書などをテーマにしたオーソドックスないわゆる「正統派しゃべくり漫才」を芸としていたが，2005年頃からは漫才の途中で徳井のテンションが豹変し，様々な妄想をエスカレートさせていく。この漫才は「妄想漫才」と称されM-1グランプリをきっかけに有名になった。2人とも飽き性で妄想漫才だけのイメージになるのを避けたかったことや，他にもたくさんのパターンのレパートリーがあることもあり，近年は以前の正統派漫才を披露することが多い。
・「バーベキュー」の漫才が生まれたことが自分たちのターニングポイントだったと述べており，さらに「このネタができて初披露をしたのは爆笑オンエアバトル上だったが，観客の票が入らずにオンエアされなかった。しかし周りの評価がどうであろうと自分たちが面白いと思った漫才だったため，その後何度か改良を重ね，M-1で披露した」ことを裏話として語っている。
