第96代安倍晋三内閣総理大臣就任

安倍首相、憲法改正で「国防軍」明記に意欲

安倍首相は1日、参院本会議での各党代表質問で、
「自衛隊は国内では軍隊と呼ばれていないが、国際法上は軍隊として扱われている。
このような矛盾を実態に合わせて解消することが必要だ」と述べ、憲法改正に意欲を示した。
安倍首相が国会で、国防軍明記の必要性を明言したのは初めて。
ただ、憲法改正の発議要件を緩和するための96条改正を優先する考えを改めて示し、
「シビリアンコントロール（文民統制）の鉄則や憲法の平和主義、戦争放棄を変えるつもりはない」と強調した。
歴史認識に関する首相談話については、
過去の植民地支配と侵略を謝罪した1995年の村山首相談話を踏襲する考えを示したうえで、
「しかるべき時期に21世紀にふさわしい未来志向の談話を発表したい」と述べた。
