Ⅰ. Installation Requirements for the Equipment Room of the Wireless Intercom System

1. Room temperature: Air conditioners should be installed in the equipment room of the portable wireless intercom system to keep the equipment room at 18℃ to 24℃.

2. Ambient humidity: 30% to 55%.

3. Dustproof requirement: The construction and daily maintenance of the equipment room should cover dustproof operations.

4. Waterproof requirement: During the construction of the equipment room, waterproof operations should be performed to prevent rain leakage and water inflow.

5. Environmental monitoring: It is recommended that monitoring measures be taken for temperature, ground humidity, smoke, access control, power supply, and other aspects during the construction of the equipment room.

6. Illumination: The illumination of the equipment room is required to exceed 300 lux.

7. Ventilation: Appropriate ventilation conditions should be considered during the construction of the equipment room.

8. Keep the diameter of the wire hole for the RF cable to enter the equipment room to be equal to or longer than 1 meter, and lay the RF cable on the equipment room frame.

9. Provide Internet access and cable TV access for the wireless talkback system base station.

Ⅱ. Ground Protection for the Equipment Room of the Wireless Intercom System

The ground wire of the equipment room is an important factor to ensure the stable operation of the wireless intercom system. Whether the ground wire connection method is reasonable will affect the stable and reliable operation of the wireless intercom system. It also affects protection of personnel and equipment against any incident. As such, the grounding system needs to meet the following requirements:

1. AC grounding wire refers to the neutral wire in the AC power supply, with grounding resistance of less than 5Ω.

2. Protective grounding wire refers to the grounding wire of the equipment casing, with grounding resistance of less than 5Ω.

3. Antenna/Building lightning grounding wire refers to the wire used to ground the antenna/building with resistance of less than 4Ω.

4. The wireless intercom system equipment and cabinet are grounded. All equipment cabinets or computer equipment must be connected to the exclusive grounding copper bar provided in the equipment room.

5. The grounding clip is used to connect the shielding layer of the feeder to the grounding end of the tower. For the feeder shorter than 60 meters, add grounding clips at the top of the tower and both ends of the wiring frame. Additional grounding clips are required at 1/2 of the feeder longer than 60 meters.

Ⅲ. Design Requirements for Cable Laying of the Wireless Intercom System

The ground station equipment room should provide a channel for the antenna coaxial RF cable feeder (1/2 feeder) to enter the equipment room. At the same time, attention should be paid to the waterproof treatment of the channel for the coaxial RF cable feeder to enter the equipment room, and traces are preserved for the wireless intercom system equipment cabinet. The height of the trace bracket is more than 1.9 meters.

Ⅳ. Lightning Protection Requirements for the Outdoor Antenna Tower of the Wireless Intercom System

1. The height of the antenna tower should reach the height required for wireless coverage (excluding the height of the lightning rod).

2. A lightning rod should be installed on the top of the antenna tower, and the grounding resistance of the lightning rod should be less than or equal to 4Ω.

3. At least one platform should be built for the antenna tower, equipped with one antenna mounting bracket. The horizontal distance between the antenna mounting bracket and the tower body should be equal to or longer than 2 meters.

4. The distance from the antenna feeder installation position to the base station communications machine should be less than 100 meters.
