Ferro silicon is a ferroalloy, an alloy of iron and silicon with an average silicon content between 15 and 90 weight percent. It contains a high proportion of iron silicides.
Purpose of Ferro Silicon Inoculant 
1)improve the homogeneity of the cast iron structure2)eliminate the formation of carbides into thin parts or salient angles3)direct the solidification towards the stable diagram, with graphite precipitation4)refine the structure (higher cells count, finer grains in the microstructure)5)improve mechanical properties6)better separate slag and metal
7)decrease the tendency to dross formation
8)decrease tendency of micro-shrinkage
9)decrease risk of gas formation
10)decrease risk of mold / metal interface defects

Packaging & Shipping

1. Regular products packing with 1000 kg composite woven bags ,  each bag contain 20 to 25 tons
2. Special product package with moisture barrier bag.
3. Package with customer's requirement, single packing also can be adjusted according to the size of converter molten pool.
