(2020年08月09日)In light of this launch of this Daeyalt nature mine, could the regular character mine be reworked to provide more pure character each hour through some combination of increasing the mining speed, which makes it a stackable resource that is traded for pure character and/or adding a deposit box to the character mine. As it stands currently character mining isn't even a fantastic alternative for ironmen as a source of obtaining pure essence, Temple Trekking and PvM provides more essence each hour in addition to another incentives to perform those tasks.
I believe it makes sense thematically as well as from RuneScape balance perspective to have the essence mine be the default alternative for gamers. Also, as Daeyalt character mining has been polled instead to standard pure character that doesn't increase general exp per hour once you account for mining time, buffing traditional character mining this manner would be demanded for pure character to be a viable alternative to Daeyalt character for gamers amassing their own essence.
The way is that each and every form that is growing replaces the usage of the past. Nobody uses routine rune character (outside of maybe f2p ironmen or something). And out of lava runes, daeyalt replaces character. Since Zulrah and NMZ nobody has ever mined pure essence, and now more critters shed it than everbefore. Hell you don't even have to craft your own runes in the first place, simply farm Zalcano or maybe drakes in the event that you want natures. It's a shame every time they ruin by incorporating of skilling stuff resources skilling.
Essence that was rune and essence was the same thing, they have been split into an essence which could be utilised in essence and P2P that may be utilised to battle F2P robots. A decision that was undermined by adding methods to flood and farm RuneScape with character faster than the mining robots ever could, like NMZ. Leading to the present scenario where essence costs less than rune essence.
You are correct, it is a shame and this suggestion is aimed at making the skilling process at least. It's a ask, but at this point it's pretty apparent that the fact that PvM has destroyed and swallowed everything else in RuneScape is never likely to be addressed.
