With Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis slated for 202

(2020年10月17日)

Areas continue to be technically split up, but there's no loading between these. While it hasn't been straight mentioned, an open world such as this suggests there may not be single party places anymore. Most shown in the footage were multi-party areas where there were other gamers. The cover for multi-party areas continues to be lowered to eight from twelve at the current PSO2, but who you see will differ from area to area.

Weather is making a better comeback since it changes dynamically and can affect the battlefield, even though the magnitude of the impact wasn't spoken of. Time may also change, and footage showed some nice touches like fireflies in the forests at night. There is no word on fast travel, vehicles or mounts yet, but Sega has implemented several new methods for players to move fast across this new universe. Players will be able to run quicker following a dodge both in and outside of combat. A blue streak follows underfoot, so you will know you're doing it right when you view it.

Another significant addition to motion shown off in the first NG trailer is that the slide. It goes as far as some of the screenshots have left it look. Players may get to high ground and leap off to slide and get pretty damn far across the map. Like in Breath of the Wild, you will be able to make you are way up a mountain to glide away from -- but minus anything inhibiting you like stamina. It'll also make for some dramatic entrances into conflict. Sega already stated that gathering and crafting would be getting an overhaul, and while we didn't get a look at crafting, we did observe how much nicer it is to snag items within the specialty. Gathering can be done on the fly, very similar to Monster Hunter: World. Get close to a product, and just tap a button. Fruit can be picked in trees, you will find fresh docile creatures that can be searched for meat and other things and healing items are seen throughout the property as green glowing indicators called Resta Signs. It's much more intuitive than the current game.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis previews reveal what new features to anticipate. With Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis slated for 2021, we still have a ways to go, but Sega doesn't mind discussing previews of what is to come. The revisions to its MMO will be important in bringing the sport into the modern age. The changes will assuredly also bring lots of future enjoyment to fans. Sega's hour livestream throughout the Tokyo Game Show focused on the open-world map, the 3 new player classes, RPG elements, and much more. There's a lot of things in the full video, but we've gathered the highlights for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

Starting with the open world aspects, we are very happy to see that the segmentation is really gone from most of the encounter. There'll still be exploration and battle zones, but we will typically be able to roam in an unhindered experience and enjoy the game's amazing motor from more angles and perspectives. Together with the map changes, there will also be new ways to browse it. You are able to dash or glide to save a bit of time and of course, look cool.
