Aluminium profile anodizing process

(2023年)

Pretreatment: First, the aluminum profiles need to be cleaned to remove impurities, grease and dirt on the surface.
Anodizing: The aluminum profile is immersed in an acidic solution containing sulfuric acid or oxalic acid, and then an electric current is applied to the aluminum to form an oxide film. This oxide film is a hard aluminum oxide layer formed on the surface of aluminum, enhancing its hardness and corrosion resistance.
Dyeing (optional): Dyeing is an optional step in the anodizing process, which can change the color of the aluminum profile. During the dyeing process, aluminum profiles are soaked in dye so that the color is absorbed into the pores of the oxide layer.
Sealing treatment: Finally, dyed or undyed aluminum profiles are usually sealed to lock in the oxide layer and further improve their corrosion resistance.
