The primary system of power system is generally composed of electrical equipment such as power supply lines (including overhead lines and cables), transformers, bus bars, and switch cabinets. There are a large number of electrical connection points between them. Because the current flows to generate heat, almost all electrical faults will cause the temperature of the fault point to change. For example, overheating of overhead lines, cable joints, cable intermediate connections, cable laying bends, partial discharge of high-voltage cables, dynamic and static contacts, and other connections of high-voltage switchgear, and low-voltage electrical connections are major accidents. Symptoms are also the hardest-hit areas with frequent accidents.

For substations, adopt advanced centralized data receiving and display solutions. A centralized receiving device can receive wireless data from dozens of switchgear cabinets and hundreds of temperature measurement points. The wireless temperature measurement sensor can be fixed at the temperature measurement point. The entire renovation project is much smaller than the existing products. The promotion of temperature measurement systems is of great practical significance. The centralized receiving device has powerful functions and an intuitive display. It can be connected to the main station through 485 communication, which is more suitable for unattended stations.

The temperature measurement data of the substation nodes are all sent to the master station, which requires the master station software to receive, display and analyze. In addition to the conventional functions, due to a large number of temperature measurement points, this project needs to make an innovative design on the man-machine interface to achieve the requirements of intuitive and convenient observation, rapid alarm, and accurate positioning.
