フェアレディZ（FAIRLADY Z / フェアレディ・ゼット）4代目 Z32型
(1989年)1989年7月、スタイル、パフォーマンスを始めとして、完璧なスーパースポーツカーを目指した4代目が登場。バブル景気を挟み、その後の日産の経営悪化のため10年以上という長期に渡り生産されたモデルである。
2シーターおよび2by2と2つのシャシー、ボディがあり、それぞれホイールベースも異なる為、シャシー別に設計、製造されているのがこれまでフェアレディZの特徴だが、従来モデルに比較してZ32型は2シーターと2by2の外観的差異が最も判りにくいモデルである。ルーフには2代目(S130型Z)からの伝統「Tバールーフ」も一部モデルに引き継がれた。
搭載される2種類のエンジンは共にV6・3000ccで、自然吸気のVG30DE型(230ps)と新開発・ツインターボチャージャー搭載のVG30DETT型。ツインターボは国内で初めて最大出力280PSに達したモデル。自主規制値の280PSはここから生まれた。
イグニッションキーの材質はチタン、車載ジャッキはアルミニウム製等、バブル景気に沸く当時の日産を感じる事が出来る。
