アコード（ACCORD）7代目 CL7/8/9型

先代同様に一つのプラットフォームをベースに世界のマーケットのニーズに適したモデルを投入するコンセプトに変更はないが、日本仕様は欧州仕様と統合され、5代目以来の3ナンバーボディ（全幅も5代目と同じ）となる。アメリカ仕様は独自のディメンションを持ち、日本市場には後に4代目インスパイアとして登場する。なお、日欧仕様アコードは、北米ではホンダの高級車ブランド「アキュラ」において、「アキュラ・TSX」として発売されている。CMソングは『カルメン』のアレンジ版が採用されるが、イギリスではテレビコマーシャル(Cog (英語版))が話題になり、TBS系列の情報番組『サンデーモーニング』にも取り上げられた。
