General Information of Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine

Yunnan university of Chinese medicine, established in 1960. The university adhering to the "Advocating Virtue, Harmony, Knowledge and Practice" university motto spirit, has developed into traditional Chinese medicine as the main body, national medicine, on the basis of undergraduate education, expanding graduate education scale, graduate education and foreign education presents a good situation, medical, science, engineering, tube coordinated development of comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine colleges.

As of September 2021, Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine had over 14,000 full-time students.Among them, there are 12,198 undergraduates, 1,972 master's students, 23 doctoral students, and 181 international students. There are 11 secondary colleges and 1 public course teaching department. There are 17 key disciplines under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 14 provincial key disciplines, 1 doctoral degree authorization site in the first-level traditional Chinese medicine discipline, 4 first-level disciplines (covering 28 secondary disciplines), and 4 professional master's degree sites. Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine attaches great importance to foreign exchanges and cooperation, and has established exchanges and cooperation relations with more than 30 countries or regions, including the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and has carried out activities such as student exchange, teachers exchange and joint scientific research. Basic Requirements for applying Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine
