When it comes to mold balance, everyone knows that mold balance is a very important indicator for multi-cavity molds. The mold is unbalanced, and the product produced is also likely to have inconsistent quality. For family molds, because the geometry and glue volume of each cavity product are not the same, the balance is more difficult to control.

Traditionally, because the injection parameters used in each cavity of the family mold are the same (material temperature, mold temperature, filling speed, plastic pressure, etc.), it is necessary to ensure the volume, wall thickness, weight, etc. of the products between different mold holes As much as possible, it is possible to continue to produce qualified products.

However, the use of servo valve gate technology directly controls the process of each cavity directly at the gate, thus eliminating this constraint. The forming operator can independently control the stroke, speed and pressure of each valve needle. This allows the melt pressure, velocity and volume in each cavity to be independently controlled at each gate, meaning that each cavity or gate can have an independent process (filling speed, filling pressure, holding pressure and compress time). This precise control can prevent overfilling and flashing of parts of different sizes in the family mold when filling at the same time.
