Ditzfeld Transfer, Inc. has grown into one of the midwest's leading transportation, warehouse, and distribution service providers. With over 97 combined years of experience, we're proud of our 45+ year history.Founded by John and Bernice Ditzfeld, Ditzfeld Transfer began in the 1960's with two straight trucks performing local tasks for customers and LTL carriers in the Sedalia, Missouri area. In 1968 tractor trailer rig was prchased. Shortley after that, the second generation of Ditzfelds, Ron and Donnie, joined their parents in the Operation.Over the next 30 years the family continued to build their trucking operation to over 30 OTR rigs. In 1997 the warehousing division of Ditzfeld Transfer was formed with the purchase of a 50,000 square foot warehouse facility.Today, the third generation of the family, Ron's sons, Steve and Sam, are an integral part of Ditzfeld Transfer, Inc. Steve currently manages the over 800,000 square foot warehousing operation, while Sam manages the transporation operation with more than 50 power units and 160 trailers.Throughout the years, Ditzfeld Transfer has consistenly proven our commitment to maintaining the level of service.By utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including of our trucks equipped with Nextel GPS tracking, and the recently installed Red Prairie warehouse management system, we are your transportation and warehousing solution.
