OVERVIEW OF GSM ANTENNA AND TYPES OF GSM ANTENNA

(2023年03月31日)

An electrical device known as an antenna transforms electrical electricity into radio waves and the other way around. It is typically used in conjunction with a radio emitter or receiver.

A GSM antenna radiates electromagnetic (radio) waves when a radio transmitter provides its terminals with an oscillating radio frequency electric current for transmission.

To create a tiny voltage at its terminals, a gsm antenna must intercept some of the electromagnetic wave’s energy during the reception. This voltage is then applied to a receiver so that it can be amplified.

Every piece of radio-using technology must have an antenna. They are used in systems such as radio broadcasting, broadcast television, two-way radio, communications receivers, radar, cell phones, and satellite communications, as well as other devices such as garage door openers, wireless microphones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, wireless computer networks, baby monitors, and RFID tags on merchandise.

Five types of Mobile Antennas
1. Wideband 8-10dB gain log periodic antenna, 690-2700 MHz
On the frequencies used by all the main wireless carriers, as well as by GPS, Wi-Fi, and WiMax, a wideband log periodic antenna performs superbly. Over the full specified frequency range, they typically have a low standing wave ratio (SWR) of less than 1.5:1. Maximum power being transmitted from the antenna and maximum signal range are both correlated with low SWR.

2. Broadband 800-2500 MHz Log Periodic Antenna with 10dB Gain
A wideband directional gsm antenna is the best device to use outside of homes, offices, and other commercial structures in areas with weak cellular coverage.

It is designed for simple outside installation on a mast or pole. Excellent signal-pulling power is provided by this type of antenna for fixed installations where there were previously few options available.

3. Multi-Band Panel Antenna, 698-1000 and 1700-2700 MHz, 7-10dB Gain
GSM antennas with multiple wideband frequencies work better on frequencies used by Wi-Fi and WiMax as well as all the major wireless carriers.

4. 6dB Gain Yagi 700 MHz 4G LTE Antenna
Applications for a good Yagi antenna in the 700 MHz bands include 4G LTE, SMH bands, point-to-multipoint, and public protection.

A wider beamwidth, 6dB gain, and a tough powder-coated finish are a few characteristics that offer exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in the harshest environments. A voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than 1.5:1 across the full frequency band results in the best performance and range. (650-830 MHz).

5. Wideband Yagi Antenna, 880-960 MHz, 14dB Gain
A broad frequency range, higher gain, and a tough powder-coated finish are all characteristics of a wideband Yagi, much like its LTE equivalent. Applications include CMTS, DSRR, ISM, and GSM 900. The front-to-back ratio of this antenna is great for filtering out unwanted signals.
