MIM Process

The mim manufacturing process includes feedstock, molding, debinding, and sintering. MIM's proprietary compounding process can produce homogeneous pelletized feedstock that can be injection molded. The feedstock is heated and injected into the mold cavity under high pressure. The degreasing process then removes most of the binder. The final sintering eliminates the remaining binder and gives the part the final geometry and strength.
