According to the news from Micronet, IDC's latest quarterly tracking report on the commercial large-screen market shows that China's LCD splicing screen market shipments in 2020 will be approximately 1.274 million, an increase of 14.1% compared to 2019.

IDC pointed out that with the gradual reduction of costs in recent years, both LCD splicing screens and LED splicing screens have shown a rapid growth trend. The accelerated digital transformation needs of the government and enterprises have promoted the growth of the splicing screen market from the demand side. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, the growth rate this year has slowed slightly, but with the gradual development of new infrastructure and other projects, it is expected that the market will show faster growth in 2021, and the growth rate is expected to reach 20.3%

In response to the current development trend of the LCD splicing screen market, IDC said that first-tier manufacturers such as Haikang and Dahua lead the market, while traditional TV and display manufacturers are in the second echelon.

In addition, government and transportation are currently the main industries for LCD splicing screen applications. However, as products become increasingly optimized in the next few years, customer experience continues to improve. With the gradual improvement of upstream industry technology, the splicing gap of LCD splicing screens is gradually becoming smaller and the area of a single screen is larger, which will further enhance the customer experience and have more application scenarios.
