What is Anodizing Service and anodised aluminium is?
Anodized aluminum goods a widely used surface treatment process. It is an electrochemical treatment process for metals or alloys, especially for aluminum workpieces.

The Anodizing process can be divided into anodizing and hard anodizing.
Generally, the metal workpiece is placed in a specific electrolyte, and the anode of the aluminum workpiece forms an oxide film through the action of electric current. The original hardness of aluminum is low, but after anodizing, the surface hardness and wear resistance of aluminum can be improved, and it can play a protective effect.

The anodized workpiece has a fine and smooth texture, and can also be electrolytically colored, which has the functions of insulation and decoration. In special applications, it has specific insulating properties, which can effectively improve the bonding force of the organic coating and improve the adhesion, which is often referred to as the film thickness. The thickness of the anodized film is usually about 5-15um. This process is combined with sandblasting and satin polishing to improve the texture and aesthetics on the workpiece surface.

Different from anodizing, the solution of hard anodizing is generally sulfuric acid and sulfuric acid plus organic acid. In addition, the hard Anodizing process can be achieved by reducing the anodizing temperature or reducing the concentration of sulfuric acid. The thickness of the hard anodizing film is generally 25-150um, and the thickness of the anodizing film is controlled by adjusting the anodizing time, acid concentration and temperature. We can adjust the thickness of the oxide film according to customer needs. The higher the film thickness, the stronger the abrasion resistance.
