The damper actuator is installed on the main shaft or auxiliary shaft of the valve through a square shaft adaptor or a cold-welded V-shaped clamping card. When the actuator is powered on, the motor runs and opens the valve, which tighten the built-in spring. If the power is interrupted, the spring will drive the valve back to its original position.
