What is Explosion Proof Connector?
Explosion proof connector are designed with flame proof Ex d thread joint to thread of conduit or explosion proof housing hubs to prevent any explosion from running outside in hazardous location.

There are 4 types of explosion proof connectors for enclosure drilled hubs or rigid conduit as below:

SA series explosion proof adapters connect two same or similar conduit hubs sizes together from two conduits ends

SR series explosion proof reducer reduce two different conduit hubs sizes from a larger size to smaller size from two conduits ends

SU series explosion proof unions connect two same or similar conduit hubs sizes together from two conduits ends with detachable assembly for 3 pieces.

SE series explosion proof elbows change direction in threaded rigid conduit with 90°or 45°angle

There are two types of explosion proof connector to terminate the rigid conduit or liquid-tight conduit as below:
