Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is a therapeutic non-invasive technique by using vacuum source to promote acute or chronic wound healing and fight infection.

NPWT machine consist of a wound NPWT dressing (gauze or foam), a zig-zag gauze roll, an occlusive transparent film dressing, and is connected to a vacuum source that supplies negative (subatmospheric) pressure.
