Since I really don't enjoy playing online, I was considering buying and haven't purchased since 2013 but am concerned about Franchise mode. It dull and stripped down. There's no feeing of circumstance in the mode and it feels like a boring gameplay loop of enjoying with the season, performing a draft, also resetting. There is hardly so there is no feeling of league development and stats stored. Player cards do show you what team the player played from year to year for God's sake. I had to subscribe to this site called daddyleagues so that I can catalog my stats and league history to give some form of circumstance of my own league to myself.

In addition to all of that the transaction logic of different teams is broken as is how and also the AI's draft logic free agency functions. It pretty much forces you to play like a coach only so that you can experience those idiotic participant situations ( for instance a star player will complain when he feels as though he's not getting the ball ) that pop up from time to time but those are completely irrelevant. Hats off to the the Madden gameplay group for this one. Usering from the Madden 21 beta is close to perfection (might feel a bit slow to some because of evaluations ) but there is eventually a huge skill gap for user defenders. I made so many user plays at which I stayed in my zone most of the time but once I noticed a route breaking it jumped for an int, it felt smooth and accurate.
