NSX（エヌエスエックス）初代I型 E-NA1

NSX（エヌエスエックス）とは、本田技研工業のミッドシップスポーツクーペ型乗用車。

ホンダの第2期F1参戦を機に「世界に通用するHONDAの顔を持ちたい」との願いから開発された車であり、バブル景気絶頂期の1989年に発表され、翌1990年から2005年までの15年間の長きにわたってフルモデルチェンジを行うことなく製造及び販売がなされた。価格は販売当初は1グレードのみの800万円（AT仕様は60万円高）で、当時の国産乗用車の中では最高額だった。その後、改良や装備の追加 等により徐々に値上がりし、900万-1,300万円台となっていた。販売した15年間はいずれもスポーツカーとしては日本車最高額であった。

1990年に登場。エンジンはC30A型 3,000cc V6 DOHC VTECを搭載している。外観はリトラクタブル・ヘッドライトを採用するなどスタイリッシュに仕立てた。また、通常仕様のクーペから快適装備を外して軽量化を図ったピュアスポーツグレードの「タイプR」も1992年から3年間の期間限定で日本国内販売のみにラインアップされた。

1995年にマイナーチェンジし、ドライブ・バイ・ワイヤやAT仕様車にFマチック（ステアリングコラムのスイッチによるマニュアルシフト）が追加された。また、オープントップ （いわゆるタルガトップ）仕様の「タイプT」が追加された。
