栗山聡投手からプロ初ヒットを放った。パ・リーグで投手のヒットは8年ぶり4人目、代打でのヒットは25年ぶり2人目、打点つきのヒットは9年ぶり2人目、2打点は史上初、代打で打点つきのヒットも史上初となった。
