In June, Sanya Ecological Environment Bureau told Hainan Daily that at present, they are speeding up the upgrading and transformation of on-site medical effluent treatment facilities in Sanya Central Hospital and Hainan Hospital to further improve the effluent treatment capacity. In addition, in order to prevent and resolve environmental risks and prevent infectious diseases caused by water and soil pollution resulting from pathogens from erupting again during the epidemic period, Sanya has continuously strengthened the supervision of the ecological environment and strengthened the supervision and guidance of medical waste treatment and medical wastewater treatment in 2 designated hospitals and 4 hospitals in the city, as well as solid waste treatment and wastewater treatment in hotels in 12 medical isolation points, so as to promote the safe disposal of medical waste and wastewater in the city.
