メセナ アワード2012 トヨタ自動車（株）「ココロハコブプロジェクト」

04年から続く「子ども×アーティスト」では、コーディネーター・吉川由美氏が南三陸町でアート活動を行っていたことが縁となった。学校関係者やコーディネーターとの会議を重ね、11月、現地から「追悼式で、子どもたちの歌で町の人たちを元気づけたい」との発案を受けた。大事にしたのは、子どもたち自身の言葉と旋律による曲づくり。「町の人たちや自分たちがこの一年がんばったなあと思うこと」などをテーマに紡ぎ出された言葉が歌になった。
子どもたちの歌声は、被災地の方々のこころに勇気を運んだ。復興への長い道のりの中、同プロジェクトは長期的な継続を目指し、震災2年目の支援活動を進めている。
