自民調査会、臓器移植法改正の2案了承今国会中の提出目指す

臓器移植法の改正案などを検討する自民党の調査会は14日、「脳死は人の死」を前提に、現行法ではできない家族の同意だけでも臓器提供を認める案（河野案）と、現行法の枠組みのまま提供可能な年齢を引き下げる案（斉藤案）の2案を、議員提案で国会に提出することを了承した。公明党も両案の提出を了承している。河野案については自民党議員を中心に、提案に必要な20人以上の賛同を得ている。両案とも、民主党など野党側にも理解を求め、今国会中の提案を目指す。
この日の会合では、「脳死は人の死」とする河野案に「現状では踏み込みすぎではないか」との慎重論も出たほか、日本小児科学会が、15歳未満からの提供に対し、子どもの意思表示の機会を尊重するよう求めていることを受け、「両案の折衷案ができないのか」といった意見もあった。
