レジェンド（LEGEND）4代目 KB1/2型

(2004年)

2004年10月7日に登場。エンジンは、初代から続いたバンク角90°のC型から60°のJ35A型 V6 SOHC VTECに変更され、同じ3.5Lではあるが、軽量・コンパクトになった。エンジン出力は、2004年7月1日に280PS自主規制が解除されたことで221kW(300PS)、353N·m(36.0kg·m)となり、カタログスペックが国産乗用車初の280PSオーバーとなった（のちにエリシオン プレステージにも搭載された）。またパワートレインの搭載方法も、2代続いた縦置きから横置きに戻った。
