1. Do Filecoin miners need a fixed IP?
For mainnet, you will need a public IP address, but it doesn't need to be fixed (just accessible).

2. Has Filecoin confirmed the use of the SDR algorithm? Is there evidence of malicious construction?
SDR is confirmed and used, we have no evidence of malicious construction. The algorithm has also passed internal and external security audits.

3. Does Filecoin realize order matching between clients and miners through the order book?
There will be off-chain order books and miner marketplaces - some teams are working on it. They will mostly work off-chain, as transactions per second on-chain are not sufficient for our expected usage on Filecoin. These order books are built on the basic transaction flow on-chain. These order books will arrive on their own trajectory - most likely around or shortly after the mainnet launch.

4. Why does Filecoin mining work best on AMD?
Currently, Filecoin's Proof of Replication (PoRep) prefers to run on AMD processors. To be more precise, it runs much slower on Intel CPUs. It runs very fast on some ARM processors, such as those found in newer Samsung phones, but they lack RAM to seal larger sector sizes. 5. What do miners need to do to transform the committed capacity (CC) sector into a "real data" sector?
Miners will publish the storage transaction they will use to upgrade the CC sector, announcing to the chain that they are doing the upgrade, and proof to the chain that the new sector has been properly sealed. We hope to continue to develop and make this cheaper and more attractive overtime after the mainnet launch.
6. Will the existence of Filecoin mining pool lead to centralized storage, away from the vision of distributed storage?

No! Filecoin has created a decentralized storage network, in part by dramatically lowering the barriers to becoming a storage provider. Even with some large mining pools, anyone can join the network and provide storage with only modest hardware purchases, and we expect customers to store their files in many different miners.

Also, note that world location matters for mining: many clients prefer miners in specific regions of the world, so this enables many miners to be successful in places around the world with storage needs.
